Geelong's VFL side will be bolstered by the inclusion of Nakia Cockatoo as the Cats quest for their seventh win on the trot.

Cats fans can expect to see Cockatoo take the field this week after some late withdrawals in recent weeks due to tonsilitis.

Geelong will face the 11th-placed Sandringham, who come into the game fresh off a draw with with Coburg. 

Lincoln McCarthy has also been named in the side as he attempts to return to football following a series of hamstring issues. 

Ryan Abbott will be back in the thick of things after missing last week with Gastro, while Jordan Cunico and Jordan Murdoch have also been named in the side. 

Billy Longer will take the ruck position for the Zebras and provide a challenge for Abbott and Zac Smith around the ground. Darragh Joyce also returns for the Saints after a stint at AFL level.
