The Cats do consider the future of the club’s playing group when it comes to making decisions says Chris Scott on Tweet the Coach.

However, Scott concedes these specific decisions are only made if they're not going to jeopardise the team's current ability to win.

“When things are 50/50 decisions we do prioritise the long term, but we don’t think those decisions will hurt the team greatly in the short term - we do what we can to give ourselves a good chance to win in the current week,” Scott told Cats TV.

“I think it is fair to say if things are really close we are on the side of considering the long term as oppose to the short.”

On this week’s Tweet the Coach Chris Scott also talks about:
- Addressing interstate losses
- Guthrie wasted as a tagger
- And last week’s debutant Shane Kersten
