Cats venture down the highway
As part of this year's community camp the Cats will visit a number of local schools, hospitals and nursing homes in the Otway region.
As part of the Cats community camp the players will venture down the highway to visit Colac, Camperdown and other small communities within the Otway region.
The two-day camp will commence this Thursday the 13th of February with a Civic Reception at Colac Memorial Square at 12:30pm. Geelong senior coach, Chris Scott, will formally join the stage as guest speaker.
During the Cats stay the players will call on a number of junior football clubs around the local area where they’ll host various drills and Q&A sessions.
Their schedule also includes school, hospital and nursing home visits as well as a short trip to see the community camp’s major sponsor, the Australia Post Office.
Before the Cats return to the Cattery on Friday, the players will undertake a children’s Superclinic at Colac’s Central Reserve, followed by a signature signing session for supporters and clinic goers.
