Geelong will welcome back All Australian and dual premiership defender Harry Taylor back into the side to take on Essendon at Etihad Stadium on Friday night.

Taylor, who made his debut against the Bombers in 2008, will be joined by ruckman Dawson Simpson, midfielder George Horlin-Smith and defender Jed Bews.

Making way for them will be Mathew Stokes (ankle), Hamish McIntosh (ankle), Billie Smedts (omit) and Josh Walker (omit).

The Cats (9-4) will be looking to bounce back from the loss to Gold Coast last week whilst the Bombers (7-6) will be looking to carry on from the win over Adelaide last week.

Cats members heading along to the game with a general admission membership will have a small amount of seats available for scan in on the night but are encouraged to pre-book a seat to avoid disappointment.
