Young defender Billie Smedts can escape suspension and join in the Cats in round one after being offered a reprimand for striking.
Smedts was booked in the third quarter of Friday night's game for striking Demon Jimmy Toumpas.
The match review panel assessed the incident as being negligent, medium impact and high contact resulting in a level two offence worth 125 demerit points and a one match sanction. With an early guilty plea, Smedts can have his penalty reduced to 93.75 points and a reprimand.
