Round 10 2011 was also one of 24 matches 1897-2014 where Geelong scored eight or more times as many points as their opponent in a second half (13.10-88 vs 1.5-11). Of current teams, the Cats' have done this in 1.03%  of their matches - the most of any team. Next most: Collingwood 0.99% and Essendon 0.76%.

Round 20 2011 at Kardinia Park saw The Cats record their highest second quarter tally against a scoreless opponent (10.3-63 vs 0.0-0).

Previous: 9.6-60 vs St Kilda in 1899. The win was also the Cats' League record 29th consecutive victory at the one venue and the record for the highest combined winning margin (336 points) from two consecutive matches (won against Melbourne by 186 points in round 19.)
150 points is Gold Coast's biggest losing margin.

Round 10 2013 at Kardinia Park is Geelong's greatest winning margin after being even at three-quarter time and the League's second greatest. Previous: 32 points vs Collingwood in the 1937 Grand Final after being 80 points each at the last break (the only Grand Final that has been even at three-quarter time).

League greatest: 57 points in round 2 1993. Hawthorn scored 10.4-64 vs Sydney 0.7-7 in the last quarter after being on 12.13-85 each at 3/4 time..
