Cats and Pies to battle at Simonds
Geelong will take on Collingwood at Simonds Stadium for the first time since 1999.
After finishing with four wins and just the one loss the Cats finished tied for second place in the NAB Cup standings but missed out by percentage on playing in the decider.
For Collingwood, it will be the first time since July, 1999 that they have travelled down the highway to the Cattery.
Cats assistant coach Dale Amos flagged a fortnight ago the possibility the Cats will field a full strength line-up in their final hitout.
The match will get under at 4pm on Friday at Simonds Stadium. Club and AFL members will get free entry on presentation of their 2013 membership. A $5 general admission fee will apply to non-members.
