The four Brisbane players that were welcomed back from injury last week have recovered well and are set to play again this week against the Cats.

Brisbane’s Strength and Conditioning Coach, Matt Hass, is confident Matthew Leuenberger, Daniel Rich, Tom Rockliff and Mitch Golby won’t return to the bench this week.

“(They were) four very nice inclusions to the team on the weekend, and they all got through nicely,” Hass said on www.lions.com.au

“Richy, with his shoulder blade, went through some pretty heavy contact during the week to make sure he was right and there were no dramas there.”

On top of their return the Lions will also be adding two key players which will strengthen their forward line as well as their back, including skipper, Jonathan Brown and Daniel Merrett, who are set to return this week from suspension.

Brent Moloney, who has been out with a minor back injury, is also showing positive signs on the track and could be a possible candidate for this week’s clash at the Gabba on Sunday.

“Beamer (Brent Moloney) is tracking along nicely,” Hass said.

“He’s ticked off all his rehab progressions and will go through a fitness test this week to see if he’s available for the Cats.”

Claye Beams (knee), Stephen Wrigley (knee), Stefan Martin (ankle) and Jared Polec (ankle) still remain on Brisbane’s injury list.
