The Cats witnessed their third loss for the season after allowing the Crows to take charge in the final stages of the game taking the win by two points.

Young Cat Mitch Duncan felt the team did more things right than wrong, however, it was the severity and timing of their mistakes that cost them the game.

“I think we did a lot of things right but the things we did wrong were probably the crucial things and at crucial times.”

“It was a hard slog out there today, the ground was very soft and muddy and we probably ran out of legs.”

Duncan felt Adelaide managed to pick up the momentum and execute the right things at the right time.

“They seemed to win the crucial contests at the end and that’s probably what won them the game,” Duncan said.

According to Duncan the Cats will need to lift the force in and around the ball, before they hit Saturday night’s clash against the Saints.

“Our pressure and stuff around the ball, that’s what dropped off in the second of this game, even the whole game to be honest.”

“We’ll really knuckle down this week and do all the things that we do every week and hopefully we’ll bounce back.”
