Patrick Dangerfield has finished runner-up in the 2019 AFLCA Player of the Year Award.
Dangerfield received 10 votes from Chris Scott and David Teague in the final round of the season after producing a scintillating 34 disposal and four-goal game against the Blues.
His best-on-ground performance saw him finish on 90 votes, 17 behind Bulldog Marcus Bontempelli.
After leading the award at the halfway mark, Tim Kelly finished fourth overall on 86 votes.
The award is presented in recognition of the player who has been adjudged as the Champion Player of the Year based on their performance throughout the Season, as voted by the Coaches (5,4,3,2,1) on a weekly basis throughout the AFL Season
