The 2020 Powercor Country Festival clash between the Cats and Bombers will take place in Brisbane on Sunday.
Now in its fifth year, the Powercor Country Festival supports our regional communities and producers, and celebrates their contribution to our country.
A big part of each year’s festivities is the Farmers’ Market and this year it has gone virtual.
With close to 80 products online there is something for everyone. From homemade jams and chutneys, gin, brownies, the finest local fresh produce and of course, last year’s favourite, the chocolate pretzel.
Visit thefoodpurveyor.com.au to check out the amazing variety of Victoria’s finest sourced local produce that can be delivered straight to your door.
The Food Purveyor has been involved with the Powercor Country Festival for the last five years and their Managing Director, Nicole Newman, is excited by the opportunity to help local producers get their products out there during this challenging period.
“For these producers it has been such a tough time for all of them to be able to continue to have businesses stay in business, so this is another opportunity to get their products out there and to be able to showcase them on this stage,” Newman said.
“This Powercor Country Festival has been crucial and critical to a lot of these businesses - this is another opportunity to showcase what we are capable of from this region.”
