As the 2020 season continues its way towards finals, the Geelong Cats will use this week’s round against the Tigers to say thank you to our members.
Over 60,000 members in 2020 pledged to stay Geelong Strong and support us through the toughest moment in our 161 years.
Whether reserved seat holders at GMHBA Stadium, Melbourne 5 members, general admission, non-access, interstate or international, the sacrifices made by each and every one of our members will not be forgotten.
In 2020, we launched Geelong Strong. It is a call to arms not symbolic of just this year but of 161 years of us being Geelong Strong. It is the enduring legacy handed down by our players, coaches and staff over our history but also the resilience, pride and hard work that epitomises the city of Geelong.
2020 has thrown many challenges at us and it will continue to. Not just on-field but in our community.
But still, all of us, members, players, coaches, staff and our board will continue to play the game as it should be played.
We will continue to band together and become stronger.
Why?
Because We Are Geelong.
Because all of us are the Geelong Cats.
