It has been a big week for Tom Hawkins and the individual accolades have continued after he was awarded the Carey-Bunton Medal and named captain in the 2020 NSW State of Origin team.
It caps off a memorable week for the Finley junior who won his first Coleman Medal after finishing the regular season with a league-high 42 goals and received his third All Australian blazer.
The Carey-Bunton Medal is given to the highest placed New South Wales player in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award.
The medal is named after two of New South Wales' finest products in Wayne Carey and Haydn Bunton Snr.
