Continues to put his best foot forward in the VFL. Was a solid contributor in Saturday’s narrow loss to Port Melbourne, finishing with 16 disposals, seven marks and two tackles.
Josh Walker
Headed back to the VFL after the return of Tom Hawkins to the AFL side and did his bit in the loss to Port Melbourne, booting two goals and tallying 13 disposals and six marks.
George Horlin-Smith
Has battled a few niggles in recent weeks, but is expected to return to the field this weekend. Will be considered for the AFL team but is most likely to line up in the VFL.
Nakia Cockatoo
Ran around in the VFL on the weekend and made his presence felt, kicking a goal and tallying 13 disposals, seven marks, five tackles and four clearances.
Michael Luxford
Has been the big improver at the Cattery this season, having dramatically improved his fitness over the summer. Remains on the rookie list but is a good chance to be promoted to the senior list in the coming weeks. Racked up a team-high 21 disposals in the VFL team’s loss to Port Melbourne. Also took four marks, laid seven tackles, won six clearances and kicked a goal.
