Former Geelong premiership forward James Podsiadly has agreed to continue his career at the Adelaide Crows.

Podsiadly was not offered a new contract by the Cats for next season.

By heading to West Lakes, Podsiadly will re-unite with former assistant coach Brenton Sanderson and former teammate Darren Milburn.

Podsiadly played 23 of a possible 25 games in 2013 and kicked 33 goals to finish with 83 games and 169 goals as a Cat.

A premiership player in 2011, Podsiadly won the leading goalkicker award in that season as well.

The Crows have stated they will work with the Cats to allow Podsiadly to move there in the trade period.
