Played pivotal role in South Australia winning the NAB AFL Under-18 Championship, averaging 15 touches, seven tackles and three clearances. Averaged 14 possessions in 12 games for SANFL club Sturt. Finished equal-first in the goalkicking test (30/30), equal-third in the kicking test (27/30) and equal-fifth in the standing vertical jump (72cm) at NAB AFL Draft Combine.
