Sam Menegola is back to face the Demons alongside Brad Close and Zach Guthrie.

Both Menegola and Guthrie return to the side after making the unsuccessful trip to Adelaide in Round 1, while Close will play his first match of the season.

Close kicked four goals in last last VFL outing two weekend's ago, with the Bendigo Bank VFL Cats not playing last round.

Forwards Francis Evans and Shaun Higgins are both forced withdrawals with ankle and shoulder complaints respectively.

Debutant Max Holmes will return to the VFL alongside Charlie Constable, last week's medical sub who has also been omitted.
