Meghan McDonald has continued her impressive start to the AFLW season after being voted Geelong’s best in their 18-point loss to the Western Bulldogs on Saturday.
Playing against her former side, McDonald received five AFLCA votes for the second consecutive week to move into equal eighth overall.
The 27-year-old recorded a game-high 21 disposals and was a constant presence down back with four strong marks.
Midfielder Oliva Purcell received one vote from the coaches after collecting 17 disposals and four tackles.
Geelong will head interstate for the first time this season to play Adelaide at Norwood Oval on Sunday.
