GEELONG’S match committee will have some tough choices to make when it meets for selection this week ahead of the Cats clash with Richmond at the MCG on Sunday at 3.20pm.

Gary Rohan is right to go after recovering from a quad cork in last week’s trip to Perth.

“He’s trained fully this week and will be available,” GM of Football Simon Lloyd told geelongcats.com.au.

Rohan appears the most likely of the injured players to be considered.

With no VFL football played last weekend it appears unlikely that many changes will be made to a senior side that defeated Fremantle by 69 points.

On this week’s podcast, co-hosts Cameron Ling and Lachie Young debated who they thought could also be considered for selection.

Lachie Henderson was the first player that came to mind if he is right to return after missing last week for personal reasons to play against Richmond's dynamic tall forwards.

“Jack Riewoldt, Tom Lynch... we’ve seen Mabior Chol do quite well so all of a sudden that forward line that the Tigers have got looks a little bit imposing again and you need to make sure that you’ve got your best defenders, so let’s hope that Hendo is right for this week,” Young said.

Max Holmes is likely to be in the conversation after being the unused medical substitute on the weekend.

Other players who have either recently returned from injury via the VFL or have been in good form for the Bendigo Bank Cats include Jordan Clark, Sam Simpson, Nathan Kreuger, Charlie Constable, Zach Guthrie, Francis Evans, Oscar Brownless and Ben Jarvis.
