Cats ready for no Buddy
Corey Enright says the Cats will be ready to take on the Hawks' newly renovated forward line
On this week’s Match Committee Corey Enright told Cats TV the Hawks’ forward line will be just as challenging, if not more, without key forward Lance Franklin.
“They’ve probably got a few different options now that we’ve got to close down on and a few more multiple goal kickers, so they’re a different mold for sure,” Enright said.
Also an important component to the Cats defence force might be missing, as Andrew Mackie still remains an uncertainty for Monday’s clash.
However, Enright is confident that Jared Rivers will again step up to the contest, following a career best performance against the Eagles.
“He’s obviously a very important player for us and hopefully he gets up and if not we’ll have to look for someone else to fill his shoes,” Enright said.
“But Jared Rivers played his best game all year last week so he’s in some good form and hopefully he can continue on.”
