Geelong's strong performance against Brisbane has been acknowledged with three Cats named in the AFLW Team of the Week.
Defenders: Ash Brazill (Collingwood), Brianna Davey (Carlton), Jess Duffin (North Melbourne), Meg McDonald (Geelong), Chelsea Randall (Adelaide)
Brazill and Duffin were great sources of rebound for their respective sides, with seven rebound 50s apiece. Duffin also set an AFLW record for most intercept marks with 10.
McDonald was outstanding against Lion Sabrina Frederick-Traub, while Davey and Randall were highly influential, featuring heavily in the AFLCA votes and providing drive out of defence and through the middle of the ground.
Midfielders: Jessy Keeffe (ruck, Brisbane), Emily Bates (Brisbane), Kiara Bowers (Fremantle), Richelle Cranston (Geelong), Dana Hooker (Fremantle), Erin Phillips (Adelaide)
Keeffe makes her Team of the Week debut in just her second AFLW match, finishing with a round-high 27 hitouts, along with seven disposals and five clearances.
Bowers' pressure (16 tackles to go with 23 disposals and seven clearances) was outstanding, while teammate Hooker set an AFLW record with six centre clearances.
Cranston (22 and nine inside 50s) played her best game for Geelong, Phillips was at her imperious best, while Bates (21 disposals, 11 contested possessions) battled hard in a tough match.
Forwards: Kate Darby (Geelong), Sabreena Duffy (Fremantle), Maddison Gay (Melbourne), Kellie Gibson (Fremantle), Danielle Ponter (Adelaide)
Darby (three goals) broke the game open for Geelong with Duffy (two goals and an assist in the fourth quarter) doing the same for Fremantle.
Ponter won several crucial contested battles across half-forward as well as demonstrating her clean finishing closer to goal, while Gibson was mercurial, kicking three.
GWS had no match for Gay, who played nearly the whole game up forward, compared to her usual midfield role.

Interchange: Kaitlyn Ashmore (North Melbourne), Katie Brennan (Western Bulldogs), Kerryn Harrington (Carlton), Emma Kearney (North Melbourne), Maddy Prespakis (Carlton)
Ashmore may have had only 11 disposals, but her running power was evident with nine marks and nine tackles.
Brennan was a threat both up forward and on the wing, former teammate Kearney ran rampant with 31 disposals while Prespakis did a ton of work around the ground.
Harrington's strong season in defence continued with 15 disposals, seven marks and three rebound 50s.
