Geelong Football Club has informed Quinton Narkle, Francis Evans, Nick Stevens, Paul Tsapatolis and Zane Williams they will not be offered contracts for the 2023 season.
Narkle kicked 18 goals and played 41 games over five seasons, including a career-best 16 games in 2021 after being selected with the 60th pick of the 2016 National Draft.
Mid-sized forward Francis Evans will leave Geelong after seven AFL games for the Cats since being selected at pick 41 in the 2019 National Draft, while Nick Stevens, the 47th pick in the 2020 draft will also depart the Club after 20 VFL games.
In addition, 2020 Category B Rookie Paul Tsapatolis hasn’t been offered a new contract after playing 12 games across the 2021 VFL season, and Zane Williams, who was taken with the 12th pick of the 2022 Mid-Season Rookie draft out of Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL, will also depart.
