Geelong has made one change to its line-up to face West Coast Eagles at IKON Park in Pride Round on Saturday.

Young midfield star Georgie Prespakis returns after serving a two-match suspension, and is straight back into the centre-line for the Cats.

Forward Mia Skinner is the omission.

Nina Morrison has been named in the side following surgery earlier this week on an open dislocation in her finger sustained in last week's clash against Essendon.

Coach Dan Lowther flagged in a press conference on Thursday that some tough calls would have to be made at the selection table, with practically a full list to choose from as Renee Garing (post-pregnancy) and Rachel Kearns (AC joint) return to availability.

Both were named in the emergencies for Geelong, alongside versatile tall Melissa Bragg.

"We've got some difficult decisions to make, that's for sure. We've got pretty much a full list to choose from, which is outstanding," Lowther said on Thursday.

"It's really stiff for players at this point to come out because we're winning, and it's a difficult conversation to have that someone is unlucky to come out.

"We've also got Rach Kearns too who is also breathing down my neck to try to get back into the team. She's fit, firing and ready to go. Renee Garing ... we've got a number of players who are basically knocking my door down to say 'hey, pick me'."

First bounce is 5.40pm on Saturday. The match will be broadcast live on Fox Footy, and can be streamed through Kayo, womens.afl and the official AFL Women’s and AFL Live apps.
