Jed Bews is confirmed to play his first game in three weeks after being named in Geelong's team to take on Essendon in Sunday's Country Game at the MCG.
The tough defender has been named on the interchange, with Cameron Guthrie (toe injury) the Cats' only out.
Mark Blicavs will again be Geelong's starting ruck, while last week's late call-up Sam Simpson has retained his spot in the side after an impressive two-goal performance.
Cats coach Chris Scott said he was looking forward to a big clash between two in-form teams.
"We’re excited about the game. They’ve clearly improved and I think it will be a big occasion," Scott said.
"1pm on a Sunday, Country Game at the MCG, it’s good for regional people and easier to get to the ground so we’re expecting a big crowd. I’m assuming the main reason for a good crowd at the game is because there are two pretty good teams, both in form that will put on a good show."
This year's Country game will celebrate the country in the city, with a Country Festival Live Site in Yarra Park from 11am until the first bounce. The festival will include live acts from the Mik Maks, Luke Biscan and a DJ, as well as a petting zoo, sheep dogs, face painting, flight simulator, food trucks and more. Get your tickets here.
