Phoenix Foster is set to pull on the Hoops for his first official appearance for Geelong in Sunday's VFL clash with Coburg Lions at Piranha Park.

The big-marking forward stands at 197cm, so is also capable of also playing through the ruck when needed. Foster had a delayed start to the year due to injury.

The 18-year-old is one of six AFL-listed Cats returning to the side after its bye last weekend.

Oisin Mullin and Oscar Murdoch return from injury, James Willis is back after being managed against Werribee, and Brandan Parffit and Tanner Bruhn have been named after missing the Round 4 clash as sub and travelling emergency for the AFL side.

The Cats expect to be without Brayden Ham for the long term after suffering a hamstring tear against Werribee in Round 4, while ruck Will Christie is being managed.

Round 4 debutant Lewis Antonac will be out of contention for the next two games after he suffered a concussion playing for his local side St Joseph's in their Geelong Football League Anzac Day clash.

First bounce is at 12pm this Sunday at Piranha Park. Fans unable to attend the ground can catch all the action live on Channel 7.
