Bowes on the Brisbane clash
We saw bits and pieces of their practice match, the coaches and players got a little bit out of it.
With Queensland weather it is a little bit slippery, the ball was on the ground a lot and it is a bit dewy up there.
We obviously reflected on last year and have taken plenty of learnings from that.
It is just an exciting opportunity for us to see where our game is at, they are the reigning premiers and it will be a big challenge for us.
Bowes on his first taste of finals football
It was an awesome experience, my first taste of finals last year.
It has made even hungrier over the off-season, to get to work and I want to get back to that position even more now.
It wasn't just myself either, I think we had up to nine people play their first final last year.
It is great to get a lot of experience into some of our younger players, guys like Shannon Neale, Oisin Mullin, Ollie Dempsey.
For them to get that finals experience as well at such a young age is going to hold us in really good stead.
Bowes on the midfield
Throughout the pre-season we have had lots of different numbers rolling through there, trying to figure out the right balance.
We have got a really selfless bunch of midfielders in there, people that are able to play a lot of different roles.
It is exciting to see where we land, but I am sure throughout the year that we will rely on a lot of different players going through there.
Bowes on his trade to Geelong
It feels like a while ago now.
I am loving it down here, the club has been awesome.
It is such a great organisation, I feel really privileged and proud to be part of the Cats footy club.
I am looking forward to staying here a lot longer.
