Geelong AFLW members will have the chance to go green with their 2023 AFLW Membership, as the Cats launch their new Green Cats option.

The Cats have teamed up with the City of Greater Geelong to support their native plant revegetation project at Fyansford Common, along the Moorabool River, with 2023 AFLW members able to choose to use their membership Cats Shop Voucher to have a tree planted on their behalf.

Members who choose the ‘plant a tree’ option will be invited to join the Cats and City of Greater Geelong at a planting day on Friday 25 August, in what is hoped to be the first of many planting days hosted by the two organisations.

The plant a tree option will be available with all Cats AFLW memberships – Premium, Home & Away and Supporter.

Eligible 2023 Geelong AFLW members will receive their voucher code shortly and will be able to support the Green Cats initiative by selecting the ‘plant a tree’ option through the Cats Shop online.

Geelong’s 2023 AFLW campaign will begin on Saturday 2 September when the Cats host the Western Bulldogs at GMHBA Stadium.
