With a number of key Cats signing new contracts over the past month, there are numerous potential milestones and records that can be reached in the 2025 season.

Patrick Dangerfield - Total Games Played
Dangerfield finished the 2024 season on 337 career games, currently sitting 30th in V/AFL history for total games played.
Only 24 players in the history of the sport have reached 350 games played, Dangerfield only needs 13 more games next year to become the 25th player to reach that number.
He currently has the fourth longest career among active players (17 years) but after signing a two year contract, expect to see him draw closer to a number of other game records.
Mitch Duncan - Geelong Football Club: Games Played
Mitch Duncan finished this year on 296 career games, needing just four more appearances to reach his 300th AFL game.
He would become just the seventh player in Geelong Football Club history to reach the milestone, needing just nine more games to move into the top five players in club history for games played.
Duncan's next game at GMHBA Stadium will also be his 100th at the venue, one of just a handful of players to reach that number.
Mitch Duncan - Career Win Record
Along with his total games played, Duncan has also had a very successful career playing in 209 wins, the 19th most of any player in V/AFL history.
Duncan needs to play in 14 more wins to move into the top 10 players on this list, currently holding the second highest win percentage of any active player (70.95%).
