Geelong Cats today finalised a deal to trade midfielder Darcy Moloney to Sydney.

The Cats have received pick 22 in exchange for Moloney, with the Club now holding picks 9, 22, 27, 45 in next month’s AFLW Draft.

Moloney departs after playing 46 games in the Hoops in five seasons.

“Darcy is a quality person who has been valuable member of our football program and we wish her all the best at the Swans,” Geelong Cats Assistant General Manager – Football, Brett Johnson said.

“We acknowledged Darcy’s request for a fresh start in Sydney, and we have strengthened our draft hand as a result.”
