Scott on the trip to Adelaide

We have thought more about how we played there in the past, even through the Covid period we were forced to play there quite a bit.

For whatever reason, we think the ground suits us and we have some pretty good memories of good performances there. As I always say, the circumstances of the week are unique but you can draw on some of your previous experiences.

It doesn't have much impact on the opposition, clearly they are in really good form and one of the best teams in the competition at the moment. A month in you can get a bit of a feel for who's hot and who's not, doesn't mean it will continue necessarily but I wouldn't have thought it was the best time to get them.

There lies the challenge, if you look at it glass half full, it is a privilege to play in what will be the biggest game of the round.

Scott on Jack Henry's injury

We trust our medical team, who I think are the best in the business and the feedback is that he is going to miss weeks, but it is not a severe one.

It is a challenge for our stocks, I think if you had to choose our best key defender you would probably pick him based on recent form.

Not many teams can cover that perfectly, but we do feel like we are reasonably well placed and if nothing else, it has given us a chance to put a bit more responsibility on Connor O'Sullivan's shoulders.

He has more than responded to that challenge, so that is positive for us.

Scott on the Crows strong start to 2025

I have always rated them, I like their list and it doesn't surprise me to see them playing the way that they are playing.

We will consistently say that we have a lot of respect for every team and when you think about it through the lens of what can they do at their best, every game becomes pretty daunting.

Adelaide are certainly in that category where if you let them have the game on their terms, you will likely get beaten.

Every week requires a lot of thought into how the opposition play, and what they look like if you let them play that way.

It is a really big challenge but one we are looking forward to, and we are really confident in our capability as well.

Scott on Oli Wiltshire's form

He is becoming very hard to ignore and I would encourage you to keep asking, but also look through the lens of who is currently in our forward line.

That is not to say that Oli is pigeonholed just as a forward, we think he has the capacity to play up the ground as well. He is doing everything that he can do, I just want to be a little bit cautious of building him up too much.

I think it is very likely that if he keeps going the way he is, he will get his chance. But putting undue pressure on guys who are still early in their career, it is not fair on them when they actually do come in because they deserve the chance to come in and find their way at AFL level.

Long term from what we can see, he has the capacity to be a really good AFL player.

Scott on George Stevens' Development

He has been really good, we like what we see.

Not every player gets to impress in this manner, but George has something a bit different to the rest of our midfielders which is going to work in his favour I suspect.

He is a really big, strong inside mid who can run. I just said don't put pressure on them, but I am going to do it and he is an elite kick.

When he gets his chance at AFL footy, you will see the strong contested work but he is a beautiful user of the ball.

We are excited about his development.
