Geelong’s GMHBA Stadium has been voted the best regional stadium at the Austadium awards.
The Austadium awards judge stadiums on the number of public votes they receive.
GMHBA Stadium received 20 per cent of votes for the best regional stadium, followed by Metricon Stadium (11 per cent) and Bendigo Stadium (8 per cent).
The Cats have made GMHBA Stadium a fortress, winning 447 of their 670 games (67%) at the ground.
On Saturday 2 February the stadium will host Geelong’s inaugural AFLW match against Collingwood.
