Defender Tom Stewart has been nominated for Mark of the Year following his huge grab against the Bulldogs on Saturday.
Late in the final term of the Cats’ 44-point win, Stewart lifted the GMHBA Stadium patrons out of their seats as he jumped over Tom Liberatore to pull down a massive mark.
The smiles were plastered across the faces of Stewart, the onlooking Mark O’Connor, Chris Scott and the majority of the 31,373 strong crowd.
Stewart is the second Cat to be nominated for the award after Gary Ablett’s Easter Monday speccy in round five.
West Coast’s Liam Ryan and St Kilda’s Daniel McKenzie have also been nominated for their aerial efforts in round nine.
