The AFL has released its fixture for round 23, with the Cats to host Saturday night football against Greater Western Sydney at Simonds Stadium.
Set for the 7:25pm timeslot on Saturday August 26 and broadcast on free-to-air television via Channel Seven, the match looms as a blockbuster between two genuine finals contenders in what will be the final round of the 2017 home and away season.
Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster from 9am on August 9.
A Celebration of Football week will be held after the final round. It wil include the NAB AFL Women's State of Origin match and the announcement of the All Australian team.
