Joel Selwood is expecting yet another fierce contest with Hawthorn when the two great rivals meet at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.
The Hawks are six points outside the top eight, but they are in good form after a recently defeating the top-of-the-table Crows in Adelaide and drawing with the second-placed Giants in Launceston.
"[They're] playing well," Selwood said during a chat with reporters at Simonds Stadium on Monday.
"They've put some faith in their youngsters to do a good job and they're playing really well.
"But their old boys are still going really well too.
"Hodgey's coming up for his 300th game, which is a huge milestone, and I'm sure they'll want to play well for him."
