Scott Selwood hasn't ruled himself out of Sunday's round one clash with Fremantle at Domain Stadium, even though he hasn't played a game yet this year.

Selwood has battled toe problems in recent weeks, which he believes might be linked to the ankle injury that held him back last year.

However, he toe is improving and he is doing all he can to win a spot in the team to play the Dockers.

“I’m not too sure at this stage,” Selwood said when asked on K rock’s Fresh Daily if he would make the trip to Perth.

“I’ve got to get through a fair bit of work this week.

“But it’s feeling really good at the moment and I just can’t wait to get back.”
