Geelong is set to host a VFL curtain raiser against Richmond prior to the huge AFL game between the clubs at Simonds Stadium in round 21.
The VFL match was originally scheduled for Sunday, August 13 - the day after the AFL clash.
But the Cats have requested that it be brought forward to Saturday, August 12 to create a massive day of footy at Simonds Stadium.
The VFL game is set to start at 10.15am, with the gates to open at 10am.
Adding to the action in the Kardinia Park precint that day, Geelong's VFL Women’s team will play VU Western Spurs on St Mary’s Oval from 11.45am.
