Geelong senior coach Chris Scott says the Cats have looked to address their recent post-bye blues and keep the momentum going against West Coast in Perth.
Having only won twice on the back of a bye since 2011, the Cats now head on one of the toughest road trips in football to face to the Eagles and a few minor tweaks to the side’s preparation are hoped to pay off.
“We’re aware of it … It is something that we’ve looked at with our preparation,” Scott told Momentum Energy’s #AskTheCoach.
“In terms of controlling what we can, we’ve probably trained with a little bit more intensity in patches this time. There are a few little tweaks we’ve made with our training program, a little bit more contact for example.”
“We’re fighting really hard take the momentum that we’ve developed over the last three weeks into this week.”
