Geelong’s Lachie Henderson underwent a minor arthroscopy on his right knee yesterday.
In recent weeks, Henderson has been restricted by mild knee pain following post-season surgery in early October.
The defender will return to the club in the coming days and begin a modified training program over the Christmas break.
“While this is a setback for Lachie, it will allow him to move forward on a rehabilitation plan,” Geelong’s General Manager of Football Simon Lloyd said.
“Lachie will work closely with our medical team over Christmas with the aim to return to football early in the new year."
