The Cats will take over the Goulburn Valley this weekend as part of the 2016 Australia Post Community Camps program.
Arriving in Shepparton on Thursday morning, players, coaches and staff will be welcomed to the region by the Greater Shepparton City Council and AFL Goulburn Murray with a civic reception, before heading off to more than 20 local schools.
Players will conduct clinics and Q&A’s with students throughout the day before getting their first look at Deakin Reserve for a short training session later in the afternoon.
A number of players will also visit local junior football clubs to take training that evening.
The Cats will spend then Friday in the community of Echuca – where they will visit hospitals, aged care facilities, local businesses and schools.
The main event will feature on Saturday as the Cats take on the Bombers at Deakin Reserve at 2:05pm as part of the NAB Challenge.
