Harry Taylor is expecting the Cats to come out all guns blazing in their NAB Cup opener against Collingwood at Simonds Stadium on Friday, February 23.
The 29-year-old two-time premiership defender has been an outstanding performer on the training track, and he’s very much looking forward to taking on the Magpies.
“Hopefully we’ll be taking that pretty seriously," Taylor told CatsTV for an interview that forms part of the pre-season video series.
“Obviously it’s the first chance we get to play again different opposition.
“We’ve been butting heads with each other now for four months or so, and to actually get to play against a different coloured jumper, it’s going to be exciting.
“We’ve had a big turnover of players on our list over the last couple of years, so everyone will be eager and excited to get out there and see how we’re tracking.”
In his video interview with CatsTV, Taylor also talks about:
* His off-season trip to New York where he was tested by Gatorade's sports science team
* His efforts to relax more this season after worrying to much about footy in 2015
