Patrick Dangerfield has polled the maximum 10 votes in the AFL Coaches' Association Player of the Year award for his brilliant performance against Hawthorn on Easter Monday.

Dangerfield racked up 43 disposals in what was an extraordinary debut for the Cats, and he was subsequently given five votes by both coaches.

He is also among the round one nominees for Goal of the Year after taking a screamer in the last quarter.
