The Cats younger players began pre-season with a bang today, undertaking an intense hour of training in 34 degree heat.

Nakia Cockatoo, Jake Kolodjashnij, Darcy Lang, Jed Bews, Cory Gregson, Jordan Cunico, Michael Luxford, Tom Read, Shane Kersten, Jackson Thurlow and Zac Bates were all present and took part in various skills drills before finishing with a 4km run.

Rhys Stanley, Josh Cowan and Lincoln McCarthy were also present, undertaking plenty of running as part of their rehab programs.

The group will continue to train together before being joined by the senior players on Monday 23 November.
