CATS star Steven Motlop says he was embarrassed by the club suspension that prevented him from playing in the round two match against Fremantle.
But the speedy midfielder, who watched the loss to the Dockers from the coaches' box, is now looking forward to proving himself again, starting with Sunday's clash with Gold Coast at Simonds Stadium.
"[The suspension] was obviously very disappointing," Motlop told CatsTV.
"We have expectations at our footy club that I didn't meet.
"I'm extremely embarrassed, and I let my teammates down and our fans as well.
"I'm trying to move no now. "My teammates have been really supportive. They've been really great.
"And I'm really looking forward to getting back on the park, hopefully this week, and repay them because I'm very disappointed and extremely sad."
Motlop shapes as a key inclusion for the match against the Suns, who are also winless after two games.
"They're a great young side, and we haven't had the best start to the year," he said.
"But we're still confident and I'm confident in my teammates and in this club as well.
"So I'll be getting back our on the park and I'll be giving it everything I can."
