Geelong will host five VFL/AFL curtain raisers in 2020 after the VFL released the official fixture this week.
The first of these will take place against Box Hill on Easter Monday at the MCG, with the remaining four to be held at GMHBA Stadium against Sandringham, North Melbourne, Casey and Footscray.
The Cats will open their season with a Saturday afternoon twilight clash against Coburg at GMHBA Stadium on 4 April.
The VFL fixture will see the Cats play 18 games over a 21-week season, with three byes in rounds 10, 15 and 19.
They will play Werribee, Casey, Box Hill and the Northern Blues twice.
