Cats and Lions confirmed for Saturday night
Geelong and Brisbane's round 23 clash has been confirmed for Saturday August 30 beginning at 7.40pm
The match, on Saturday August 30, will begin at 7.40pm and be televised on Channel 7.
It will also mean the Cats have a seven day break leading into the game after playing the Hawks at the MCG the prior Saturday night.
The AFL in a statement said both the Geelong Cats and North Melbourne have been granted the right to play their respective matches on Saturday night given each club sits in the final eight after Round 18 of the home and away season.
