VFL: Pies will test Cats
Paul Hood spoke to Cats TV about Geelong's upcoming clash against the Pies in the VFL
With a healthy team, a home game and four wins under their belt, Collingwood’s VFL side will be a testing battle for the Bendigo Bank Cats this weekend.
Cats coordinator Paul Hood says Geelong, who had their third loss for the season last Saturday, will have to deliver a high performance to match the Pies. Currently the Pies sit in sixth spot on the ladder while the Cats are two below.
“At the moment Collingwood have a pretty healthy list so there might be a bit of talent in the VFL side, so it will be a good game and test for us to see how we can go,” Hood told Cats TV.
“Collingwood defend really well with lots of pressure and then move the ball well around the ground, so our guys will have to be at the top of our game and that’s how we want them to play.”
This Saturday the Cats will play their third consecutive game away from Simonds Stadium, when they meet the Pies at Victoria Park, 12pm.
