Speaking on Argue the Toss, Hunt said he had witnessed Menzel return to full ability in the rehab group.
“I think early on you can’t expect too much.” Hunt said.
“I’ve been training with Menz for a little bit and he hasn’t lost and speed and he hasn’t lost any power, he’s still going to excite the Geelong fans.”
Meanwhile, Scott Gullan thinks Menzel will mentally be able to return to his best.
“People have forgotten about him, he was the x-factor that was going to win that flag.” Gullan said.
“I’ve spoken with him a couple of times and I think mentally he’s going to be as good as you can be after all this.”
