The Cats and the Hawks will resume the battle, that has seen a serious of close Cats victories in the past five years, at the MCG on Monday.
Rookie ruckman Mark Blicavs and new recruits Jared Rivers and Josh Caddy have all been included in the 25-man squad.
The squad features a mixture of the old and new with fifteen AFL premiership players in the team as well three 2012 VFL premiership players.
The Cats will finalise the team on Saturday to a final team of 22.
