Cats TV ask Tom Lonergan and journalist Scott Gullan how the Cats will address the Demons after their promising two weeks under Neil Craig?
Lonergan says the Dees are playing with a lot more flexibility and Geelong will have to play their usual hard brand of footy.
“They’re certainly playing with a lot more freedom and we’ve got to be right on top of our game, their might be some changes in the team and those guys that come in have got to be ready to go.
“We’ve just got to play ruthless Geelong football, winning contests, getting the ball forward and playing the Geelong way.
After their poor performance against GWS in the first quarter the Cats won’t be taking any shortcuts on Saturday afternoon, despite the Demons’ devastating record at Simonds Stadium.
"We can’t take the Dees lightly and as we’re seen earlier in the year when we played GWS we were probably off the pace quite a lot and they scored heavily against us in the first quarter, so we’ve got to be on our game this week," Lonergan explained.
However, Scott cannot see Geelong missing a beat when it comes to Saturday’s clash against Melbourne and says the Demons will be up for another tough contest in Geelong.
“I think the flow on effect of playing so well the last two weeks could flow on for another two months, so I think the Demons might be in a little bit of trouble,” Scott said.
