Geelong’s skipper Joel Selwood is the most wanted player according to a survey on AFL coaches.

Asked which player from another side they would most like recruit to their side, a quarter of coaches said it would be the Cats star.

Fremantles Nat Fyfe and Adelaide’s Patrick Dangerfield were the other two players to get multiple votes with each receiving 13% of the vote.

Meanwhile, the coaches also tipped the Cats to be one of five teams capable of winning the premiership this year along with Hawthorn, Fremantle, Sydney and Collingwood. Surprisingly, Port Adelaide, who has spent most of the year on top of the ladder didn’t receive a nomination.

The full results from the coaches survey will be published in the AFL record available at all grounds this weekend.
